There was this terrible glare coming from the front door on Mount Pleasant, which made it hard to keep my eyes open. There was somewhat of a language barrier, as well. My hands didn’t stay under the light for a certain amount of time, just until she was ready to switch, which seemed odd and uncalculated to me. They had a wide range of gel colors and you pick from a spread and they grab the bottle. I don’t like a ton of conversation, but just some kindness and acknowledgment that another person is there is all I need. The woman doing my nails didn’t even smile at me. We weren’t able to sit together, which is not their fault, but just continued to detract from the experience. We wandered around the block a handful of times and came back, and still waited at least 10 more minutes. When I arrived with two friends, they told us we’d have a 15 minute wait. There was a nice waiting area with tea and keurig to sip on as I was early for my appointment.Can’t say I loved my experience here. She won't disappoint:) Her salon is also very cute professional.

If you are looking to see a professional who "gets" hair give Chrissy a shot. She even came up with a long term plan to repair this damage as I want my hair to be in tip top shape for my wedding next year. Chrissy was able to add dimension and shine by adding some highlights using color as she explained to me the negative and unwanted side effects of bleaching especially on a person with my hair type.
My hair was the unfortunate casualty of some over processing and bleaching. It is nice to find someone who not only understands the science behind hair but also is capable of executing this understanding successfully. She was incredibly knowledgable and I appreciated the fact that she took her time with my consult to come up with a plan to get my hair to what I wanted it to be. Chrissy tailored my visit to her salon to meet MY individual hair needs. I went to see her hoping that she could breathe some life back into my hair.
